Music to scrub floors by..

I spent a good portion of yesterday cleaning house..and scrubbing kitchen floors…

For a good part of the day, I listened to  a radio station in Central Minnesota via the Tune In App…

They played some great cleaning music.. KBEK, the “Music of your Life”..

In one afternoon, I heard Tom Lehrer’s “Masochism Tango”…and Kingston Trio’s “Tom Dooley”..with Huey Lewis and the News, Johnny Rivers, Donna Summer and even Primus thrown in…

So, with all that cleaning done , I am virtually brain dead and exhausted..

So, between the radio and my own Spotify playlists, here is Suzy-q’s list of songs to scrub/clean/sweep/mop the floor by:

This song is great for the overall scrubbing of the kitchen floor:

While this works well for stubborn spots and allows for some hard pushing on the scrubbie(extra points for the extra long guitar solo in the middle) :

This tune is great for the finishing touch and for the movement you need for the mop:

Vaccuuming the floor needs this one:

This is a great sweeping song:

Now, you’re all done with the floors..sweeping..mopping and vacuuming…and your energy is almost spent…and so you need something to give you that extra push to get everything back in it’s place and find spots to place your newly acquired cleaning supplies:

..and after all that..you feel great..like you can conquer the world..You have it all done…..

..and have this as your victory march:

These tips were brought to you from the newly clean apartment of Suzy-q…Now, go forth and add these to your musical collection!
